First place at Associazione Amici della Musica "Guido Albanese" competition

I’m thrilled to have been awarded first place in the Associazione Amici della Musica "Guido Albanese" - Ortona competition for my setting of Pablo Neruda’s “Cuando yo muero” for voice and string quartet.  The performance will take place at the Istituto Nazionale Tostiano, Ortona, Italy on August 13, although we’ll have to see how that all goes based upon the latest with Covid, of course.  Many thanks to the association and jury!
