Two competition wins in Poland

I’ve had some recent compositional activity in Poland, with a fine performance of my Prelude, Air & Whisper by Iwona Glinka (flute) and Vicky Stylianou (piano) – below – which today was awarded the Kwidzyn Classical Music Award.   And in a nice “double header,” I was also awarded a Special Distinction in the Warsaw Wind Ensemble’s inaugural competition today for my work for wind orchestra, “Ecce, reges deiectos!”, which will receive a performance in 2021, still to be scheduled.
