Second prize for Arctic Variations

I was notified today of my second place award from the Academia Musica in Vienna, Austria for my orchestral work Arctic Variations, a piece takes its inspiration from Robert Peary’s expedition to the North Pole in 1909.  A good bit of news on a cold Friday!
