Special mention at Orient/Occident 2020 for "Tres Canciones de Amor"

Last week I was awarded a special mention from the Orient/Occident 2020 competition for my piece for soprano and chamber orchestra, “Tres Canciones de Amor” (Three Love Songs) based upon poem by Pablo Neruda. Below is an excerpt, the third movement, “Cuando yo muero,” which is my favorite, here performed (at a distance) earlier this month by soprano Khrystyna Maka and the Lviv Philharmonic Society under Roman Kreslenko.
