"String Quartet #1" commercially released

I’m proud to announce that the Sirius Quartet’s recording of my String Quartet #1 has been commercially released on the album “Playing on the Edge” and can be found on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, Google Play -- and I’m sure plenty of other similar services.   It was a great experience working with the Sirius Quartet members during the recording session back in March of this year, and their subsequent NYC performance that month.   Parma Records also used the second movement of my quartet for the video promotion of the album, combining that with footage from the concert, which was nice!

After three days of being immersed in scores and recording equipment, six composers and the four members of Sirius Quartet emerged triumphantly from the studio room at Oktaven Audio just outside New York City. The first week of March 2019 had been spent recording music for string quartet, set to be released in Fall 2019 on a multi-composer album through Navona Records.
